  Ramzan Fasting Rules Ramzan Fasting RuleRamzan, also known as Ramadan, is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered the holiest month in Islam. During this month, Muslims observe fasting, which is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Here are the rules of Ramzan fasting 1 :Intention: The intention to fast is made before the start of the fast. 2 :Time of fasting: Fasting begins at dawn (Suhoor) and ends at sunset (Iftar). 3:Abstinence: During the fasting hours, Muslims abstain from food, drink, smoking, and sexual activity. 4:Spiritual activities: Muslims are encouraged to increase their spiritual activities such as reading the Quran, making dua (supplication), and performing extra prayers (Tarawih) during the month of Ramzan. 5:Exceptions: Fasting is not mandatory for children, the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people who are traveling, and those who are sick or have a medical condition that prevents them from fasting.
